    Letters to Santa Canton Leisure Services has made special arrangements with our friends at the North Pole and the US Post Office to deliver your wish list to Santa. To mail your letter to Santa, please drop it in our North Pole Express Mailbox in the Summit on the Park lobby beginning November 1st through November 30th. Santa asks that you print your name and address clearly so he may reply to your letter. Each household will receive a return letter and Santa will take care of the postage.     Join over 1,500 area residents and visitors as we celebrate the 17th Annual Turkey Trot for a Cause on Thanksgiving morning. This 1 Mile and 5K chip timed event goes to support the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan. The run/walk will wind through Canton's beautiful Heritage Park and Pheasant Run Golf Course, ending with refreshments, raffles and race awards. All ages welcome! Pre-register by November 8 to guarantee a race t-shirt. Online registration available through November 26. On-site registration available during packet pick-up and the morning of the race. Packet Pick-up: November 22-24 at Gazelle Sports (39737 Traditions, Northville) November 27, 3-6pm in the Summit on the Park Grand Ballroom. Please note on payment page, there is an option for adding a donation should you want to contribute more to the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan.

Our gym is setup with a variety of toddler-sized play equipment to help develop gross motor skills and a large selection of toys to promote creative and dramatic play. Parents must remain with their children in the gym and in the pool. This time offers parents and children a great opportunity to meet others in the community.     Join us for a fun evening and create your own piece of fiber art in our beautiful Art Gallery! During this fun workshop, led by artist Cynthia Harris, we’ll learn the basics of hand weaving while sipping a glass of wine. This 3-hour class will go beyond plain weave, and students will learn soumak, clasped weft, and knotting techniques. By the end of the workshop you will have a small woven art piece to take home! All supplies/materials will be provided. No experience necessary. This class is appropriate for ages 21 and over only. One wine ticket included per registration.
